Vice President, Business Development and Strategic Partnerships

Job Description

The National Security Technology Accelerator (NSTXL), a fast-growing rapid acquisition services company, is looking for a successful and proven executive to lead our business development and strategic partnerships effort.  NSTXL is a consortium manager of Other Transaction Authorities (OTAs), a rapidly expanding area of U.S. federal government procurement.  The successful candidate would manage our capture efforts to secure new OTAs and find strategic partnerships that enhance the value and use of our current OTAs.  This individual will report directly to the CEO and work with all members of the team to accomplish their goals.

Key Responsibilities

The individual selected will direct all aspects of our business development efforts:

  • Create and execute capture efforts for major new government clients and contract opportunities
  • Host and lead team meetings to coordinate BD and capture efforts
  • Review public announcement boards for potential new government clients and contract opportunities
  • Engage with potential government and industry clients to create new contract and NSTXL-services opportunities
  • Review and approve all business development material and literature
  • Work with our marketing team to conceive and lead NSTXL marketing campaigns
  • Work with our OTA Directors and others to determine potential partnerships
  • Operationalize partnerships with the NSTXL team

Basic Qualifications: 

  • Track record of business development success
  • Bachelor’s Degree in business, engineering or related field
  • 15+ years of experience working in business development in the government consulting marketplace
  • Knowledge of OTAs
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Good team working and team-building skills
  • Strong work ethic
  • S. citizen
