Meet NSTXL’s New CFO: Gretchen Clark

We are excited to announce an addition to the NSTXL leadership team: Gretchen Clark, our new Chief Financial Officer (CFO)! Gretchen brings a wealth of experience and a proven track record of financial leadership that will be invaluable as we continue to drive innovation for the Department of Defense (DoD).
About Gretchen
Gretchen Clark is a highly accomplished financial executive with over two decades of experience spanning finance, operations, and strategic planning. Her academic background includes a Ph.D. in Political Science from the University of Michigan and a B.A. from Stanford University. Furthermore, she holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation, underscoring her expertise in the financial realm.
Notably, she has successfully optimized financial operations, negotiated complex agreements, and implemented data-driven strategies that drive growth and efficiency.
Her recent tenure as CFO of Miami Waterkeeper saw her spearhead financial planning and budget management initiatives. Notably, she implemented investment strategies that significantly fortified the organization’s financial well-being, showcasing her strategic financial acumen. Prior to that, as COO/CFO of Source Molecular Corporation, Gretchen was instrumental in leading financial transformations, streamlining cost structures, and expertly managing post-acquisition integrations—experiences that directly align with and will greatly benefit NSTXL’s evolving organizational needs.
Current Role
In her role as Chief Financial Officer at NSTXL, Gretchen will be at the forefront of shaping our financial strategy. Her deep understanding of financial optimization and strategic planning will be critical in enhancing our scalability.

Project Success With NSTXL
NSTXL’s project success team supports, manages, and acts on critical tasks that occur under NSTXL’s active, awarded projects. Our goal is to provide tangible benefits to industry members and Government customers with our suite of post-award services.
The team provides a range of services to assist project stakeholders. These services include the coordination of kick-off meetings, monitoring and reporting on milestones, facilitating technical exchanges, and processing funding or security-related changes. The team also helps ensure coordination of project phase transitions, relaying any performance-related feedback to the Government. Further, our experts conduct supplemental investigations or research support for areas requiring additional troubleshooting.
