Visit the Space Enterprise Consortium (SpEC) team at Space Mobility and SpaceCom in Orlando, Florida February 21-23rd in booth #423. Learn how year-over-year, the SpEC network has continuously grown by 36%, awarding almost $2 billion in contracts, 60% of which has gone to new technology innovators. Our team will be available to answer questions and talk about how SpEC provides rapid space technology innovations through its network spread across commercial industry and academia. The SpEC team will also be joined by newly appointed SpEC Program Manager, Major Philip “Phil” R. Duddles, who will be in the booth meeting our members and discussing his vision for the program in 2023 and beyond.

During Space Mobility, sponsored by the U.S. Space Force and Space Systems Command (SSC), as well as SpaceCom, commercial industry executives and officials from state and government agencies will be discussing how to bridge the gap between commercial innovation and government demand, national service-based needs as they relate to national defense strategies, and how to fulfill the current and future need in technology advancements for the warfighter.

The Space Enterprise Consortium (SpEC) was established by Space Systems Command (SSC) in 2017 to bridge the cultural gap between military buyers, commercial startups, and small businesses through Other Transaction Agreements (OTAs). Using a modern acquisition approach, the SpEC OTA helps eliminate risk, decrease time to award, and rapidly deliver next-generation space prototypes.

SpEC will also be hosting a member networking night in Orlando on 21 February at 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM alongside Space Mobility and SpaceCom. Networking night will be hosted at the DoubleTree by Hilton Orlando at SeaWorld in the Royal Ballroom. SpEC Director, JaNay Mills, will be introducing SpEC Program Manager, Maj. Duddles, to our members, reviewing the accomplishments and highlights from 2022 as well as what’s to come in 2023 for SpEC. Members will also have the chance to go through a membership portal demonstration before networking begins for the evening.

Throughout the conference, industry leaders will be providing critical outlooks and how their technology can innovate the future of the warfighter. Let SpEC show you how to get your technology on contract, expand your network and create meaningful connections. Come meet our VP of Business Development and Strategic Partnerships, Mike Dodd, our SpEC Director, JaNay Mills, and the SpEC Program Manager, Maj. Duddles in booth 423!
