New Q&A RELEASE 1 – Posted on 22 December 2025

The Government has released the first round of Q&A responses for the Multi-Service Advanced Capability Hypersonic Accelerator (MACH-XL 26) opportunity. Additional Q&A releases will be posted on a rolling basis over the next coming weeks. You can find the documentation for the Q&A release in the Key Documents Section.

• Questions are now due 16 December 2025 at 12:00 PM ET.
• Responses are now due by 23 January 2026 at 12:00 PM ET.

Draft Request for Solutions – Posted on 02 October 2025

The Government has released a Draft Request for Solution (RFS) for the MACH-XL 26 opportunity.

This is a departure and tailored approach from the standard RNI/RFS process. MACH-XL 26 Draft RFS is provided for reference only to aid in the preparation of your organization’s capability statement and will require further updates.

Please be advised that proposals will not be accepted until the official RFS is available.

Industry Day: November 5 – 6, 2025

The MACH-XL 26 Industry Day was held on November 5–6, 2026. This event included general overviews and technical discussions of the program, and organizations had the chance to request 1-on-1 meetings with the MACH-XL 26 Government team.

Coming Soon Notice – Posted on 25 August 2025

Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) Crane and the Test Resource Management Center (TRMC) are preparing to release a new opportunity focused on an affordable, innovative demonstration of prototype high speed weapon systems. This effort aims to showcase producible hypersonic capabilities across a range of all-up-rounds, launcher platforms, and weapon system configurations.

Key Areas of Interest include:

1. Near Hypersonic and hypersonic all-up-rounds of various sizes and launch capabilities
   including cruise and boost glide.
2. Flexible launcher platforms, such as box-launched systems, mobile launchers, and other
   adaptable launcher configurations.

The goal of this prototype effort is to generate data and insights that will inform potential follow-on production and integration decisions for future-generation hypersonic weapon systems.

The prototype development of MACH-XL Other Transaction Authority (OTA) project period of performance will be identified in the forthcoming Request for Solutions (RFS) and finalized with prospective awardees following assessment of solutions
