Maritime and Aviation Receiver Card (MAVRC)

A part of SSC’s Military Communications and Positioning, Navigation, and Timing Program Executive Office, the PNT SYD 831 is exploring a next-generation, low-power Global Positioning System (GPS) receiver design, based on the Military GPS User Equipment (MGUE) Increment 2 (Inc 2) Application-Specific Integrated Circuit (ASIC), that aligns with open system architecture principles, offers improved capabilities, and solves MGUE Inc 1 obsolesce for aviation and maritime use. Industry proposals are requested to inform requirement development, assess potential design approaches, and evaluate compatibility with existing systems.
