The Government desires a methodology to properly align the current U.S. Army virtual marksmanship training systems with real-world live-fire marksmanship training as a means to more efficiently transition soldiers from basic to more advanced marksmanship skills. This resulting prototype methodology can be transitioned to the U.S. Army schoolhouses for refinement and incorporation into future Army training doctrine.
