COMING SOON NOTICE

The Department of the Navy (DoN) and the United States Special Operations Command is seeking to develop direction finding antenna system by modifying the latest antenna technology commercially available providing an improvement in the ability to collect, process, locate and exploit Signals of Interest (SOI) enhancing the mission performance of providing timely, relevant, and responsive threat avoidance information.

The current JTWS program is an enhanced electronic surveillance and tactical Signals Intelligence (SIGINT) collection capability for Intelligence, Surveillance & Reconnaissance (ISR) and is dependent upon the latest antenna technology to meet this mission. JTWS Air consists of a SIGINT system that enables military forces to collect, process, locate and exploit SOI to provide timely, relevant, and responsive threat avoidance information. JTWS is a roll-on/roll-off system with limited Group A (permanently installed on the aircraft) provisioning. The primary mission(s) of the aircraft require that JTWS occupy minimal Size, Weight, and Power (SWaP).

The JTWS/DF Other Transaction Authority (OTA) prototype project is anticipated to be released and be executed within a 17-month period.
