COMING SOON NOTICE
Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) Crane is seeking a prototype to identify technologies and solutions, which may be used to retain or improve track strength, minimize maintenance procedures, minimize cost, improve the current capabilities, and provide valuable hands-on experience to the next generation of scientists and engineers.
The Holloman High-Speed Test Track (HHSTT) rail system is 50,971 feet long and made of a steel-reinforced concrete girder foundation which supports either two or three rails that carry high-speed solid rocket motor (SRM) powered "sleds" carrying test payloads. The rail system is flanked by supporting infrastructure including roads, water, power lines, and high-speed data lines useful in the test setup, execution, and data collection.
The Prototype Development of the HHSTT Other Transaction Authority (OTA) project period of performance will be defined when the Request For Solutions (RFS) is released and by the performer’s proposed schedule.
To view the full Coming Soon notice, please fill out the Request form to See Documents on the right side of the page.
