PROJECT TALX
Friday, 9 June 2023 from 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM ET
During this hour-long event, the Government team will share additional details about the project. Their insight into the opportunity is invaluable in crafting your solution.
Be prepared to come with questions, because there will also be a Q&A segment at the end of the event. The recording and slides will be posted on the website after the event.
Register for the HWIL Project TALX here.
REQUEST FOR SOLUTIONS (RFS) RELEASE

COMING SOON NOTICE
Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane is establishing a modular and flexible, system-level HWIL for avionics analysis. Prototype solutions are being sought for a system-level HWIL infrastructure to support the verification of system and mission performance, and to provide a platform to test and integrate advanced capabilities under various environmental and threat stimuli in real-time.
Evaluating systems using a HWIL/Software-in-the-Loop (SWIL) methodology is not a new concept, however, its application in support of emerging technology areas required by this project has not yet been developed. Most notably, this technology does not exist in a manner that supports seamless usage across multiple avionics platforms. To achieve economy of scale in supporting multiple avionics systems, a flexible and adaptable HWIL/SWIL infrastructure is required.
Using this method of simulated testing facilitates early identification of technology issues and opportunities, thus reducing risks prior to “live” operational testing. The system-level HWIL must also support assessment of not just emerging technology performance, but overall weapon system and mission performance through simulation of real-world environments (e.g. operational and threat environments) in real-time.
The HWIL Other Transaction Authority (OTA) prototype project will be executed over a 60-month period.
