The Department of War, in partnership with Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) Crane, is preparing to release a commercial opportunity for the Circuit Card Assembly Test Cabinet (CCATC) effort. This effort will focus on modernizing automated Circuit Card Assembly (CCA) testing capabilities by replacing aging and obsolete test equipment while maintaining high-precision testing capabilities and supporting multiple environments, use cases, and future test development.

The goal of this prototype initiative is to develop and deliver modern, fully automated CCA tester cabinet prototypes that provide accurate, reliable, and supportable testing capabilities.

Key Areas of Interest include:

1. Verification and validation
2. Design assurance
3. Microelectronics obsolescence and replacement
4. Strategic Missions Hardware
5. Automated CCA testing and measurement
6. Modern test instrumentation and system integration

This effort will support modernization of automated CCA testing capabilities through prototype development, system integration, and verification and validation activities. The prototype development period of performance for resulting Other Transaction Authority (OTA) awards will be finalized following release of the Request for Solutions (RFS) and based on the proposed technical approach and performer timelines.
