Meet Meredith Oakes, the new VP of Marketing here at NSTXL. In her role, Meredith will lead the overall marketing strategy for NSTXL, supporting both DoD customers and industry members on the frontline of innovation.

About Meredith

Meredith is a marketing executive with over 16 years of experience leading marketing transformations for start-ups to $10B enterprises. She specializes in building and optimizing marketing functions, driving revenue growth, and navigating complex M&As and IPO strategies. Known for her execution-focused leadership, Meredith has developed demand generation and AI-driven marketing strategies that have delivered measurable impact for industry leaders in the finance, insurance, legal, healthcare, and high-tech spaces. Meredith will lead NSTXL’s marketing function as the organization expands its influence and visibility in the national security innovation ecosystem.

In her most recent role, she led her team through three acquisitions in less than two years, embraced an evolving product strategy, and undertook a goal of positioning the company for extreme future growth. In that environment, she successfully built a unified marketing team across the U.S., Canada, and India, implemented scalable systems, and led initiatives that drove new revenue streams.

“The true win was how we created structure during chaos, aligned the brand and growth engines, and gave the team space to lead, experiment, and grow,” Meredith shared. “It’s that mix – driving results and building a team and culture that people want to be part of – that I always aim for, and that’s what I’m excited to bring into the next chapter.”

Current Role

In her role, Meredith will optimize marketing support at NSTXL as the organization continues to expand its services and offerings. With an increased interest in Other Transaction Authorities (OTAs) following the President’s Executive Order to utilize rapid acquisition vehicles, innovators are on the precipice of unprecedented opportunity. With her experience and expertise, Meredith is uniquely positioned to capitalize on this opportunity to further revolutionize the way that the government innovates.

“There’s an exciting momentum at NSTXL that’s also extremely complex. I’m excited by the opportunity to bring clarity to that complexity, to unify brand and growth efforts under one strategic umbrella, and to empower the team to do their best work,” added Meredith. “I love the process of identifying what’s working, what needs to evolve, and where the real opportunities lie – then building the systems, structure, and culture to support that growth.”

Having led marketing teams through massive transitions before – M&As, IPO prep, rapid scale – Meredith is prepared to elevate the NSTXL brand, deepen customer relationships, and directly contribute to revenue.
