November 12, 2024
Joining NSTXL is more than just signing up for membership – it means joining a community and transforming how government and industry collaborate. As a member, you’ll gain access to a network of innovators like yourself, the chance to work on groundbreaking projects, and opportunities to grow within the contracting space.
This guide aims to help you maximize your NSTXL membership, whether new or considering joining.
Access to Other Transaction Authorities (OTAs)
As an NSTXL member, you gain access to our network of OTAs, which include the Strategic and Spectrum Missions Advanced Resilient Trusted Systems (S2MARTS) and the Space Enterprise Consortium (SpEC).
These OTAs provide unique opportunities to work on projects that shape the future of national security and space exploration in their respective fields. Watch the video below for an in-depth look at how OTAs speed up the government acquisition process, providing a flexible process that eliminates wasted time, effort, and money.
Furthermore, each of the OTAs under NSTXL’s consortia has tech areas that they focus on.
S2MARTS OTA: Focuses on rapidly prototyping and delivering advanced technologies in areas like microelectronics, cyber resiliency, and spectrum superiority.
S²MARTS Research: S²MARTS Research carries out research projects that meet the needs and requirements of the government at any stage, allowing for a natural transition from research to prototype development.
SpEC OTA: Provides a platform for members to engage in space-related projects that support SSC and the Department of Defense’s strategic objectives.
To access SpEC opportunities, you’ll need to have a DD2345 form, which is a Military Critical Technical Data Agreement. If you don’t have this form yet, you can still join NSTXL and submit the form later to gain full access to SpEC opportunities.
