SpEC General Member Meeting (GMM)
Postponement Information

Due to the ongoing government shutdown, the SpEC General Member Meeting (GMM) will be postponed to January 20-21, 2026 at the same venue, LAX Marriott. You can find all event details here for further information. 

Registration Changes

Your existing registration has been automatically updated for the January 20–21, 2026 event, including your response for the Membership Showcase Reception (now scheduled for Tuesday, January 20).

If you’d like to transfer your registration to a colleague, please email us at events@nstxl.org and we’ll be happy to assist.

Room and Travel

If you booked a hotel reservation at the LAX Marriott under the SpEC GMM room block, you need to cancel your reservation before 72 hours of your check-in date to avoid penalty. You can cancel your reservation by phone (310-641-5700) or online by visiting the LAX Marriot Hotel Room Booking Site.

If you booked your reservation outside of the room block (company rate, using points, etc.), please contact the third-party site where you made your booking.

Pitch Day Registration

While we expect many Pitch Day opportunities to continue, some may shift to later dates or transition into alternate formats depending on government availability and mission priorities. We will share confirmed updates and next steps as soon as they are available.

How to Cancel Your Registration

  1. Visit the SpEC GMM event website.
  2. Click the “Already Registered?” link in the top right corner.
  3. Log in using the email you registered with and your confirmation number. If you don’t have your confirmation number, contact events@nstxl.org for assistance.
  4. Once logged in, scroll to the bottom of the page and click “Cancel Registration.”
  5. Review and confirm your information, include a brief note on why you can’t attend, and click “Submit.”
  6. You’ll receive confirmation that you’ve successfully unregistered from the event.
